Payments
Cards (Mastercard)
Card payments run through the Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS) connector.
Initiate
{
"amount": 10.000,
"currency": "BHD",
"payment_provider": "mastercard"
}
Response includes track_id and payment_url pointing at the Mastercard hosted payment path on the Payment Engine.
Customer experience
- Customer opens the hosted payment page
- The page shows your merchant name, logo, and website from the merchant profile
- Enters card details / completes 3-D Secure as required by the acquirer
- Engine receives the gateway callback and finalizes status
- Optional webhook notifies your server
Set the logo and website in the dashboard before you go live. See Merchant setup. If a logo or website is not set, the hosted card page uses a platform default, so configure both for a client-branded checkout.
The JavaScript checkout session also returns merchant_name if you draw your own heading above the widget. The pay action still opens this same hosted card page. See JavaScript checkout SDK.
Subscriptions
Recurring billing currently uses Mastercard only. See Subscriptions.
Refunds
Mastercard (and Apple Pay via MPGS) support refunds through POST /merchant/refund-payment. See Refunds.
Sandbox card numbers and response controls: Sandbox test cards.
